Cox Communications in partnership with the Connect2Compete program offers discounted internet service to families who have at least one child receiving free or reduced school lunch through the National School Lunch Program or living in HUD-assisted housing.
Having a reliable internet connection at home is valuable for both students and parents. Eligible families can sign up for Cox High Speed Internet for $9.95 a month. This Cox service includes a free cable modem rental, free installation, and no deposit or contract. The goal of Connect2Compete is to ensure that low-income students have access to the same advanced online learning tools in the home as other students. Click here to download the program flyer.
